Temperance is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Lotus Noire Health. She built this practice because she believes everyone — and especially Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ patients — deserves a provider who listens, believes them, and treats them with full dignity.

Most major plans accepted. No insurance? Still welcome.
We accept all Rhode Island and Massachusetts Medicaid plans, most major commercial insurance, cash, credit, and FSA. Discounted sliding-scale pricing is available if you're uninsured or underinsured — just ask.
